Christina Sanner, Ph.D., LP, TEB, SRR
Dr. Sanner is a Licensed Psychologist. She received her Masters in Psychology at The State of New York at New Paltz, and her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at The University of South Dakota. She has counseled people coping with depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues and trauma in a variety of settings: student counseling centers, outpatient mental health, inpatient private and state hospitals, and residential treatment centers. She has worked with individuals, couples and families; children, adolescents and adults.
Throughout her training, Dr. Sanner learned to approach emotional and behavioral issues in several different ways, including examining thought processes (CBT), family systems, interpersonal functioning (psychodynamic), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and body work (TEB and SRR). Her specialty is helping individuals heal from trauma with a combination of talk therapy and body work. She is certified in EMDR and is also a Transforming Touch Practitioner. She competed TEB (Transforming the Experience-based Brain) under Dr. Stephen Terrell and SRR (Somatic Resilience and Regulation) under Dr. Stephen Terrell and Dr. Kathy Kain.
