Brooke Niemietz, LPC-Associate
Brooke Niemietz is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Ashley Buckmore, Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. Brooke completed her undergraduate and master’s degree at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor with special focus in psychology, human sexuality, trauma, and lifespan studies.
Brooke has experience working with children aged 4-16 years, adolescents, and both young and older adults. During her internships at a student counseling center and community mental health clinic, she has seen people with depression, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, relationship issues, ADHD, substance addictions, trauma, grief, LGBTQIA+, and individuals on probation.
Brooke strives to create a safe and supportive space for clients to express themselves and believes that people of all ages are worthy of being authentically known. Her approach combines elements of play therapy, solution-focused therapy, somatic psychotherapy, CBT, trauma informed and attachment-based therapy, and sandtray therapy
